I did get my passport translated but that was only because I got RQ'd and it was a requirement. Also, UAE stamps are in english and arabic and I would not bother translating them unless they request you to provide it. The translation cost me $10 / stamp ( which was cheaper compared to the other...

Ok , I had not checked my ECAS for at least 10 days and it seems like my received line has disappeared. However, I received a mail from CIC yesterday asking me to fill out the RQ. I guess its a long long wait for me now. :(
