I have a random question about this. If and when i have a Canadian passport as well as my Irish one. Can I enter Ireland using my Irish passport and then enter Canada using the Canadian one on the way back?

I checked my tracker today after not checking for a while, and I see that I have a citizenship test window starting soon and ending a few weeks later. I still haven’t actually received an invite by mail or email. Is there another way I can access the test?

I had them taken two weeks ago. The guy doing the fingerprints told me that they usually get them pretty quickly but I checked the tracker today and they haven’t updated as having received them. Whats the normal turnaround time? Is there any way to check on what’s happening?

The letter they send is a little scary with mention of possible issues with the application.

You mean on the way out of the country? On the way in, I'd tell them I'm a PR. If they check and stop you without a PR card on the way out, then I'll cancel the trip.

mmm well the stamp doesn't explicitly PR. It says the date of landing and then below the document number of my COPR is written in pen. I'm not sure if border control would know what that means or not. edit: also, i'm guessing I wouldn't tell them I'm a tourist. I'll just give them my passport...
