    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I submitted my application in early October of 2013 and received my COPR on June 3rd of 2014. I think that at the rate they're going, and given that all your papers are in order, you'll get it in a couple more months. I point out that between "Application Received" and "Decision Made" there were...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Its official! I received the COPR last Friday!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt be more excited! The letter says that being from a visa-exempt country, I dont require a passport request. I must now just go to a port of entry to get it validated. Good luck to everyone! My total processing time was 7 months...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I had to list all national documents, so I listed my european passport as the primary one and the south american as the secondary one. In my application i had to send copies of both passports. I really dont know what to expect at this point for that reason!

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Ornob, we are exactly on the same boat, with extremely similar timelines as well. I've been worrying as well, but of what I've seen on many forums and other people's experiences, this is 99% good news. I think that the sequence of events that would lead to a worrisome scenario are quite...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I have two citizenships: one south american one european. One of my passports requires an entry visa, the other one doesnt. I enter Canada with the one that doesnt. Since I would have to go through several emails to get the exact dates, here is a very apporximate timeline: PR application: sent...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

OMG out of curiosity, I just logged into the On-Line PR Status check portal and I can see that my status has been updated into DECISION MADE! "We started processing your application on May 28th, 2014", "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Thanks! Congratulations on your PR! If you submitted your application in September, I can assume that October applicants (like me :)) will receive it in the next couple of months... hopefully!! I see you got a Police Certificate requested, how did this happen? Did you receive a communication...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I was in a similar scenario. It took me around 2 months to get my meds requested. I was also in Europe at the time, but I was returning to Canada in 10 days so I waited to return. I understand you can take them wherever, but it might lengthen your process for about a month I think, as results...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I got my CSQ (student) in around 20 days. It was literally a matter of sending the application and finding the CSQ two weeks later in my mailbox. Regarding the eligibilty for a work CSQ, there is a number you can call (there was an office where you could go in person in Montreal but it closed a...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Congratulations to everyone! What a great way to start the summer! Thanks for your previous replies! I have another question I forgot, did you guys submit a Canadian police clearance from the beginning? I had understood that it was only from your previous countries of residence they required...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Hi guys, Congratulations to everyone!!! I never received an message informing me my file had been sent to Ottawa- however, two weeks ago when Was asked to pay the RTPR it seemed the e-mail came from Ottawa... I am right to assume my file has been transferred there, right? Also, may I ask...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Amazing, PRJuly2013!!! My sincerest congratulations (and a healthy bit of jealousy). So I understand that you get your passport requested (regardless if you need an entry visa or not), then they return it to you (in how much time) with the PR visa ready to cross the border, right?? Also, has...

Congratulations PRJuly2013! I am sure it can only be good news ;D And it is surely reassuring to know that several people already went from Application Received to Decision Made!

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

If you sent in your application last July, I guess that the max you will wait will be until this July based on what you tell me, and it is pretty much just 2 months away :)

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Thank you SO MUCH dior12! Your help is much appreciated. As I said before and you all may know, the application requested police certificates from the countries you had previously resided in, but they never specified whether or not you would need one for Canada. A friend of mine (American) who...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

So if I sent in my application in early October, and submitted my Medical Exams in mid-December (as they were requested at around those dates), then Late November-December is more of a realistic date for me to receive my PR, right?

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I think I love you for having written this. I was told by someone (someone who should know about this) that they were taking up to 2 years, even the PEQ ones. I am also quite irritated at the fact that while the PR is being processed, it is virtually impossible to study anything in Canada. I...
