Just phoned CIC, was told that i will have oath ceremony on 8/19. Took the test on 6/19. CIC received my application on 1/19. Too many 19s haha Good luck everyone!

I was in the same situation, and was told by my lawyer friend to request a copy of landing paper from CIC and to apply until you have it. It may take a few months. But listen, if you don't have it, you would fall into non-routine category which could take up to 36 months. I waited a few months...

Put 'now'. I did not and during my interview, the officer asked me if I'm still with my current employer, etc. I said yes. She said, 'ok. It means now!'

I live in downtown, very downtown. I'm surprised that my local office is scarborough. One friend of mine applied back in Oct/Nov 2013, has not heard anything from CIC. I'm really not sure how CIC makes their decisions based on what criterias. good luck!

Thx. Not at all, I did not include any additional documents. I travelled a lot, vacations... Even the officer said, 'you travelled a lot!' I feel lucky for sure.

I just left Scarborough test center. Passed, 20/20. The entire thing took me no more than half an hour. The test was super easy only if you study. Will be waiting for the ceremony... ;) Good luck to the follow Jan applicants! :)

I travelled a lot (vacation), pretty much I was out of Canada average 30 days each year the past 3.5 years. No, I did not change job, have had the same job since I came.
