    March 2014 applications-----

Not sure if anyone is updating the spreadsheet still, but if so, I received my CPR in the mail yesterday (22 April). It was 16 business days between my E-CAS status changing to "In Process" and having the CPR in hand. (Meds were done upfront, RPRF was paid same day as the request, I'm visa...

My E-CAS changed to “In process” on March 31. RPRF request came on 9 April (paid same day). "Decision Made" status came on 15 April. So that's pretty much 2 calendar weeks. I hear from these forums the decision can be delayed if CIC have to do extensive background checks and delve deeper for...

Another update for the spreadsheet: my E-CAS status changed to "decision made" on April 15. I'm from a visa exempt country. To everyone still waiting, hang in there! I heard nothing from CIC for a year, and requested and actioned things on my GCMS notes several times in the last few months...

Update for the spreadsheet: “In process” as of March 31. Meds have been received. RPRF request: 9 April (paid same day) I’m from a visa exempt country, so CPR should hopefully come in a few weeks. Back to the waiting game…

can i leave canada before i receive my PR card

Just found an interesting article on this topic: https://www.justlanded.com/english/Canada/Articles/Visas-Permits/Permanent-resident-cards If you're from a country that requires a visa just to visit Canada, then as others have stated, you shouldn't leave until you have your PR card. If you...

I think your issue is here: "There appears to be insufficient evidence to confirm work experince in stated NOC " The reviewing officer has probably read your HR/employment letter and doesn't see enough evidence that you actually work in your stated NOC code, so (s)he has set your application...

    March 2014 applications-----

I applied at the start of March and have heard nothing from CIC since I received my AOR. Not even medical requests. I obtained my GCMS notes in December, and everything is fine except the reviewing officer has noted (s)he thinks my job description seems to match another NOC code. They even...

Same here, and my timeframes are a few weeks ahead of you. My application was received on March 6, and I completed upfront medicals on Oct 3. Not a single change in ECAS since March, and CIC still haven't requested my medicals. I requested GCMS notes a week ago just to see what's going on, as I...

I simply emailed them my UMI number and application details. I didn't scan and attach the actual medical form - is that necessary? I was hoping it'd all be in the database as long as they know the UMI to link to my application. Correct me if I've assumed the wrong thing...

Thanks Toby. Unfortunately the first link (for an IMM 5401) appears to be more related to paying at a financial institution. "Order the IMM 5401, go to the bank with it, pay fees..." type thing. I signed up for an account at the second link, but at no point did it ask me for my UCI or...

Is there a way to get a more official receipt for my PR processing fee payment? I know they mention they've charged my credit card in the AOR letter and even provide a receipt number, but I'll need something more official than that to submit to my employer (they're reimbursing me some costs -...

Implied status while waiting for BOWP and PR – IEC participants

My question has arisen after reading on this forum that “implied status” does not apply to anyone on an International Experience Canada (IEC) work permit. My boyfriend and I have both been in Canada since mid June 2012 on 2yr work permits obtained through the IEC initiative. I am eligible to...

    6th Photo

Thanks all! Sounds like it's definitely not a deal-breaker to have the 6th photo stamped, but not handwritten on.

    6th Photo

How did this issue work out for you guys? I'm now in the same boat - the photo place stamped the back of all 6 photos and I only realised after I'd paid and left. I will only handwrite on 5 though... Would prefer to not drop another $60 on reissuing these if it's not an application deal-breaker!

Photo Specifications - date at the back

xihy06, I have the same situation - all 6 photos were stamped. I've only handwritten on 5 though. Have you had any issues? Would prefer to not pay another $60 to have all 6 redone!
