neha_arora1985: Sorry, couldn't help but look at the visa office in your profile saying Delhi. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't CPP-O the only visa office for CEC applicant? Seniors would know for sure.

Agreed, there's movement mainly in the set September 2012 applicant. Agreed, in next few weeks/months we will find if this is becoming a norm. Till then, folks shouldn't take decision believing 14 months is the timeline or anyone who applied in first half of 2013 will get the 2nd line in 7-8 months.

We are looking at CPP-O and trend here. Most of the folks who saw 2nd line from CPP-O are Sept 2012 applicants, except one as far as I know. It's interesting to know that its working out for some folks whose visa offices are not CPP-O.

As far as I know you are the only one from Feb 2013. There are 5 months between September 2012 and Feb 2013. For someone to believe that to be a pattern needs to take a huge leap of faith. You can afford that optimism, but I am afraid you may hurt others who are not yet there and who ends up...

Problem is, folks that are just browsing through these threads, they start believing stats that are of the past and end up taking decision that could impact them negatively. Any statement that significantly states a timeline change (reduction or increase) should have a disclaimer stating clearly...

September 2012 is not recent, it's almost 14 months. Therefore my point that 80% in 14 months is not the right reflection for folks to start believing there's 80% chance they'll have PR in next 5 days. The processing just started for some of them and others in the group are still waiting.

Dannyboy, you should try and come in on temporary visa and work permit and start your job, if that's possible. It is a big risk waiting for FSW processing to complete. You can let the PR process continue in parallel.

"25 months" is for processing that happened between Oct'12 and Sep'13. So it may not correctly state what's happens beyond that timeframe. Having said that, your case still is an exception, since most of the September 2012 folks are still waiting for the processing to start. Hope folks here...

    NOVEMBER 2013 APPLICATIONS

Going through several threads, I see that its not uncommon for visa office to misplace documents sent separately. If I were you, I would wait for the AOR (File Number), then put that number on a sticky on each of those PCCs and mail them. And yes, make sure to scan them before shipping them.

    NOVEMBER 2013 APPLICATIONS

Immigration programs in Canada are in a flux. There is no prediction as to what may happen next. If you believe you have the documents that are listed in the checklist that's required, you should apply now. Acceptance/Rejection/Delay can happen for a bunch of other reasons than just these...

    oct 2013 applicant

Saw on another CEC thread someone got AOR in 32 days, only to find out that the applicant was a PNP nominee, but the data was listed in CEC forum. Exceptions can happen! Also the real test will be at CPP-O, if they can deal with a bigger pile in shorter duration that's being sent by Sydney.

Just a thought. Should we add a column in spreadsheet, indicating # of dependents (age>18) on the application? Curious to see the time difference between single vs multiple applicants on the application for the process.
