Question: I just got passport request a few days ago and we already send it to them (embassy). Based on EXPERIENCE, how long will it take for us to receive the VISA and passport back? It says within 90 working days, but on our email it states that the visa validity / initial entry to Canada...

I see, couple more question. Will I (sponsor) get notified as well? Will It be shown/updated online (at cic.gc.ca, check application status ) once they sent an email about passport request?

My medical is already expired, since I apply for my wife last year. Would they ask for a new one? and How do we get the passport request? Are they going to email me( sponsor )? or email my wife in the phils? Or is it a mail? Thanks in advance

Good Day! I have landed Canada in December 29, 2010 and my PR will expire on October 5, 2016. Should the residency obligation requirement is prudently calculated its 730 Days counting backward from the date I landed, certainly I have to be in before December 29, 2015. I am out of the country...
