What's ur timeline and did u have an interview? If u got decision made without a passport request it could mean refusal so u need to check the post 2 weeks after u see decision made.

Sammy just a head up if u don't know, the arc is different from the rcmp fingerprints. The arc is a letter or document seeking permission to return to Canada and the rcmp fingerprints is just to check if he has done any wrongs when he was living in Canada.

I'm still here waiting. I guess I'm the only one left from early 2013. My case needs an ARC so I guess that's y the long wait... Just frustrated and loosing hope right now

Yes when they request the passport u have to send also a return prepaid envelop for them to send back the passport

Also it's recommended u wait until they ask for the arc because they can deny ur application and the arc is only requested if the application is approved....

That's only what the website says but it's doesn't really work that way. They say a lot of misleading things. U will still have to wait for the arc to be processed and once u require an arc ur application will take longer than other applicants.

Impatientgirl I've been reading ur post since u joined recently and we r going through the same exact situation except my application has in since feb 2013. My husband was going through the same thing after I left and it does not get easier but we just try to take it easy because we worry over...

Normally u would have sent in a prepaid envelop with ur passport for it to be returned to u so u will have to check with ur courier service.

Re: Has anyone else received an email for "repayment of deportation expenses"? The email address u quoted is from cic Kingston, that is address they use to send emails to applicants. It seems like ur husband was deported and has outstanding fee to be paid before he can return, if u don't pay...
