No it does not happen in spouse visa. It happens only in case of skilled worker, you can say point system only if they doubt.

Hey guys one thing more in my GCMS notes, they said they ask for passport photos and status shows requested but it was not written in the letter which they send to my hubby. They only ask for three things fee receipt, pcc and passport, not photos. Should i write them e-mail....I suppose??

I read properly. They did not mention any reason for Interview. Its already more than 8 months If cic want to interview, then it should do it in time why are they wasting our time. Seriously, I was expecting visa to be issued in this month but there is nothing going inside Immigration office...
