I think they're working on the backlog of DMs and then will most likely process a number of our AIPs. My guess is they're trying to get through as many applicants prior to the rule changes on 10/25. I think in the long run our processing time will be less than the overall expectation of 14 months.

I'm right there with you both as I submitted between you two. I keep hitting refresh on the status website just to see if it changes from Oct 5th!

Hey DeadSea, I had a work permit here in Canada (I'm an American citizen)and applied and was approved for Nexus. I am in the process of applying for my PR now. Hope this helps!

I'm ammending my PR app to now include an OWP application (we mailed in the PR app in October of last year). Would you recommend sending the addendum to the general PR address in Vegreville or the work permit address (unit 202)? I just want to make sure the OWP is attached to my PR app. Thanks!
