Got my passport today. Applied: Feb 12 Password requested: March 13 Received by consulate: Mar 15 Passport received Mar: 30 (Priority mail). If not I would have received it probably on 28 th or 29 th.

I have been waiting since they received my passport on the 15th. Going to be 10 business days by Friday. Frustrating. At least I am in no hurry.

Are you referring to the validity of stay after you enter canada? Or the stamping end date they put on the passport? I am asking about the latter.

apparently, none of the guyz who receive the passport back from cic come back here to post their experience. of course, they have no reason to come back to. That being said, I would expect the passport back in 10 days or so. I just sent mine. My question, is how long is the visitor visa...

There is no reason for the consulate to ask your passport to put a denied stamp on it. They ask for it to issue the stamping foil. No doubts here.

I did sign-scan-upload all forms except the main one with bar codes.

Try using IE. other browsers seen to have issues. Their site does nt seem to have been designed to handle load.

Just checked the mycic website, and they have asked me to send the passports. I have not received the email yet. it took 1 month.

Thanks. Yeah I saw that. I wanted to confirm from people who have used that rule. I also read in some forums about that, this is allowed for six months from the date you enter canada for the first time in that visa.

diettima: I applied on the 12th and have not heard from them yet. Its been a month as of today.
