How long does it usually take for us to receive the passport back from CIC with the VISA after we ship the passport to them? Any idea?

No... Actually, I dont have a birth certificate at all... I lost it long back when my apartment burnt down... Doesn't an affidavit work?

Hi All, I am planning to apply for my PR under CEC. The document checklist says, I need a birth certificate. Unfortunately, I dont have a birth certificate on me. I am wondering if I can submit any other document as a surrogate to it. Help highly appreciated. Thank you.
