Yes a person with a canadian passport will need a visitor's visa. It is 65.00 for one that will expire in 3 months.

Our medicals were done before we sent everything and we submitted it with our initial application. Everything was sent to Accra office jan 18, 2013 so it took a month from then for them to look at them.

I am always imagining what it will be like as well. Its a whole other world here and we become different in our own environment, but you stuck together through all of this and it's just another adventure on the way. Our application was received at office dec 24, 2012. On Jan 17, 2013 we received an email that our application was in process and today Jan 18, 2013 I was informed that I have been approved as a sponsor and the application is being sent to Ghana!!!! We are so happy this is going so fast so far...
