I was in the same situation w.r.t passport. I applied for PR waited for file number and the next day sent my passport. I doubt that they would be able to locate your application and then add your passport without any reference number. My advice would be apply for PR next renew your passport asap...

you may be the luckiest person I know whose ECAS is working. I received my AOR on may 17th through regular mail. I applied on Feb 25th. It appears it is taking them around 3 months to send out AOR. my ecan aiant working still, but I do not care because it adds stress to my mind. Good luck

its a tedious process for companies to hire foreign nationals without workpermit. You can do a google search on LMO or HRDC approval workpermit and you will get steps involved in hiring foreign national. Most of the companies would not go for HRDC however you keep applying. GOOD LUCK
