Just to tell you.... because my wife was already in Canada on a TRV when she received her papers for PRV from Singapore, we had to go IN and OUT USA in five minutes (around the pole) to get her papers signed by an immigration officer when we got back in Canada... It took 30 minutes to get...

We had the same on 1/17/14 after we send the passport in december 2013 and we receive last week the final approval.... and her passport.

I did update the Excell sheet for you.... It has been a long way before we arrive at this final step. We were quit lucky that my wife could have a TRV in last year... we had been together for the past 12 months.... But it took 28 months from the first time we sent the papers to CIC in october...

I just got the answer from CIC and we have to go out and in at any ground frontier.... ask to the immigration officer that we want to get the COPR approve... or you can do it without going out, but you have to schedule a meeting with an officer... It can take at least two months before it can be...

We just receive the confirmation of permanent residence and the passport from Singapore.... :) :) I have one question for you. My wife is with me on a TRV... how do we get the COPR sign by the immigration officer. Do we have to go out and in.... and where can I do it if I am in Montreal...

Just a question for you.... like I told you on the previous message, we sent my wife's passport to Singapore the 20 of december.... but we did not receive any news from them since... Some of you know how long it should be before they return the passport... Thank you...

Just to tell that we sent my spouse's visa for approval in Singapore before Christmas and the status just change today for "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

My case was in process april 2013... but i had to send again a medical since it had been done for more then 12 months... and after that I had to send a police certificate from Canada because my wife was with me in Canada on a TRV for more then six months... I just received a passport request...

So far I used Fedex three times from Canada to send police certificate from Thailand and Canada and a medical redone.... It worked really good for me... It took not more then three to four days to get over there when I checked with the tracking number... It is more expensive... but you can be...

Tomorrow we will be sending the passport to Singapore with Fedex... It takes about three days to get there... I was just wondering if it is better to use the Registered Mail they offer by SVO or acCourier paid by us like Fedex....

Hello my dear friends... a really good news for christmas... just received a email from Singapore... they are requesting the passport of my wife for a permanent visa.... I am so happy... :P ;D :D :-* ... It is a wonderful day.......

No not yet ... like I told before... they have been asking for police certificate from Canada because my wife was here for more 6 months.. something I did in september.... After that I did not receive any news from them since... But I did make a request for my GCMS... that I just received last...

I saw we had the same request for the remedical... did you have news so far...

My wife was here since january this year and they send us a e-mail in august asking us to get a police clearance from the RCMP because she was here for more then 6 months, we got it from them.... https://www.commissionaires.ca/en/national/service/individual/fingerprinting. We still waiting...

We did not yet.... ::) we did send all the informations requested from SVO... medical redone (july), police certificate redone (july) and the certificate from the RCMP in Canada (september) In the GCMS report.... the due date was the 2013-11-05. We still in process with the medical received...

Yes they did because the medical and the police certificate were overdue for more the 12 months... the same for the police certificate in Canada because my wife was on a TRV for more then 6 months...

Anybody can tell what they think about this...
