Our nomination has expired on 31st Jan. The file was received on 1st Oct and still no sign of AOR.

Yes, I did two days back. Although I did not receive any UCI or file number yet, when I tracked it, it has been delivered. I sent them an email to cancel and send my passport back along with my name, tracking number and date of birth. Should I be doing something else?

I will apply for TRV from India itself since it is extremely important for me to go back at this point of time.

What is the procedure to cancel a TRV if my passport has already been sent to them a couple of days back, any idea how long does it take for them to send the passport back?

Is there a way to get temporary resident visa soon if there is an emergency? My grandfather is in a critical condition and I am currently in Canada on a PG work permit (valid till 22nd Feb 13). I desperately need to go back to India for approximately 2 weeks.
