It took me only 4 days to get my passport back (including the weekend). I received the passport request on April 6, received COPR on April 12th, landed on April 13th Totally 7 days from PPR to landing.

After landing for 3 days, my ECAS status has been changed to "COMPLETE". Also, the fifth line was added as below: "You entered Canada at the XXX office on April 13, 2016 and became a Permanent Resident."

The instruction in the COPR letter clearly says we should call CIC to make an appointment for inland landing. If not able to make an appointment, one should go to the boarder.

They were saying "you guys have already been waiting for 2 years, then why you are in a hurry to land? They wanna most of us who are already in Canada landing at the Canada Place (waiting for up to 4 months)".

Update: Hi folks, I have received my CoPR and visa today. I sent out my passport, PPR message, two photos and XPress envelope on April. 6th, 2016. It took me about 6 days to get it back. Good luck to all of you!

Hi Guys, after I received my Ready for Visa email, today my ECAS status has been changed to "Decision Made".

I received the ready for visa email few minutes ago! I want to know how long it takes to get the visa? I am going to travel to my home country on April 23. If I am sending the printed travel ticket and ask CIC for fast processing, is that fine? Thank you so much and wish all applicants good luck!

Thank they received my medical on Feb 26 and I saw updates in my ecas. After medical there is nothing

Agree, many of them are unkind and impatient.

upfront medical will help you. I saw some October applicants received their PPRs due to the upfront medical.

the online information as well as the emails were automatically updated/sent, but by CIC staff (they never work on weekends).

i received my medicals on Feb 8, 2016 and completed on Feb 22, 2016. After that they updated my fourth line on Feb 28 and I paid upfront RPRF the same day. No news until today the second line was added.

did they ask you to send documents on Feb 10, 2016?
