Hi Everyone, We have a friend coming to visit from Russia in Jan 2017 her application was approved passport request sent. If we wanted to get an extension on her visit is it possible? We only originally asked for 10 day visit, If so when would we need to apply? Thanks in advance :D

It is possible we did it the first time rejected applied again after being married and sponsorship approved, we just mentioned that we would not want to jeopardize our chances of PR by over staying and what else we had in mind to do while she was here and it was granted for two months.

yes the visa will expire by that date and if you dont enter by that date you will have to do the whole process over.

Yes its usaully good news, for us it meant they sent passport request a few weeks later! Even though you send in the medicals with the application they still have to look at them at the regional level then your embassy requests them once they start the processing of your app.
