Does anyone know how long it takes to get PR card after landing. My wife has been here since 1 month and we still have not receieved this yet? Is there a number to call?

Salam, There is not set time with CHC islamabad. You should either order GCMS notes, or contact your MP and get an update on your file. After 17 months you should atleast hear something like, re-med, or additional docs etc. Good luck.

Last week we received our original documents back from Ottawa after i had sent them an email. Strange thing is that they only returned the pictures and originals documents and nothing else.. like our phone logs, chat logs, etc. is this normal?

salam, Nice to hear that your brother finally heard something. I guess this is a newer way of CHC to prolong timeline of a normal case, since they can not find anything else.

salam, Has your first medical expired yet? If its not, I would think they will have to send you PPR before that expires.

From what i have observed over past 18 months here is that processing of the files is all based on pure luck, since files are not worked on Last in first out bases. If your files ends up in the hands of visa officers who actually works no matter how difficult your case is it will be dealt with...

Allahumdolillah!!!! ALLAh ka croorrrrrr dafa shukar hai... my wife got her PP back with visa! Whole process took long 17 months! I can just imagine the pain of those waiting even longer then that....I pray to ALLAH that all of you get visa sooon!

Salam, Actually I am not sure about that, i will ask her. All she told me was they said your visa is issued and will be sent vis TCS. Maybe because its a village address, so they are giving heads up.

salam all, My wife received a call from the embassy that her visa has been issued. Ecas status has been changed to decision made. Now just waiting to received back the PP.

It was received and signed by Ahmed? Does anyone know if this is an employee at the embassy?

salam, My wife also submitted her pp on nov 13 no news yet. Ecas status is still in process.

Normally the Ecas changes to in process once you receive your passport request. This is the case with mine.

Not yet, submitted on the 12th of November..still awaiting... Ecas is still showing in process.

You dont need to contact islamabad or dehli. Simply book an appointment with the panal doctors, and take copies of both emails with you. Thanks,

Salam, You do not need to do this medical again. I also got two emails when they requested re-medical back August. Just sit back and relax and wait for PPR :) Inshallah you'll hear from them soon. thanks,

One thing CHC is consistant at is inconsistency!....I hope and pray you receive something soon! I know its very hard and frustrating! Atleast they are working faster now, Hopefully people of 2011 and remaining 2012 hear somthing soon.
