I thought that was the whole point of the extension that we didn't have to apply and they just needed to confirm our mailing address via email which I still haven't received by the way. It sounds like nobody has so I'm getting ready to apply on my own I guess. Thanks for replying!

For those whose permit are near to expiry and haven't heard anything, do you plan to apply on your own? Does the email we received in August cover us until May 2023 or do we need to apply before expiry? Mine expires on the 12th and I haven't heard anything, unsure what to do.

I can finally say: I got approved!!!!!! Applied July 25th 2019 Approved Nov 13th 3019 Profile updated to application/profile updated yesterday, went back to submitted, then again today, and finally approved. This thread helped me so much. Hope everyone gets their answer soon!!!

no, just application updated but it went away. It might mean they are looking at it. I'll report tomorrow

oh my goodness, thank you for asking! I checked this am and nothing but now it changed to "application/profile updated" I sent a web form of my new passport that may be it but it's the most I've seen. I might just cry:)

I know. Someone from the 24th got approved a week ago so hopefully they catch up:)

Hi guys, I doubt anyone has come across this but maybe. I purchased a vehicle in August when I didn't really know how long this permit takes to process, my license expired since I wasn't driving and when I tried to renew my license after I applied they said I had to wait until it shows approved...

Hello, I have a question I'd appreciate to be sure of. I applied July 25th so I should get approved soon hopefully and I need to go out of the country mid-December. Do I need to apply for a Visitor's visa for sure or is the PGWP enough to come back in? I've been told it depends on the officer...

She said there was an additional document option and to check if it would let me. Perhaps if I had just applied it would but it didn't so I did the web form. I don't think you can at all honestly, but the web form worked great.

Thank you so much! I called them and for anyone that may run into the same issue, they told me I could try on the online portal to add a new document and if it didn't work to fill out the Web Form online which is what I am gonna do. Here is the link...
