That is not true...... once I was approved for sponsorship we applied and received a trv from Bangkok with no problems at all...actually when the wife applied they gave her back over half the application cause they said sponsor approved no need.... and 5 days later went and picked up the TRV...

If I remember right was about 4 to 6 weeks after in process to the passport request for us so I would not worry :) I kept changing it on the spread sheet so it could be tracked for in process to ppr but someone kept changing it and I gave up....

Just did this it will explain in the letter when you get the ppr... i just sent her passport via ups with a prepaid envelope for the return. Other then USA customs holding it for couple days for who knows what it did make it back...
