- can't comment on your first question - Regarding experience of ticket booking --- I contacted offices of Qatar air ways, Emirates , Etihehad ,Air Canada ,PIA and travel agents to know of available flight connections and ticket price. My experience is that travel agents offer better deal.

I Received PPR2 few hours back

I received my original docs on 13th Apr 2013. Please note that I got PPR2 directly (LVO office skipped PPR1) on 21-Mar-2013 but Islamabad office did not issue visa because my passports were no more valid as I had applied for renewal of passports. Later on LVO issued me PPR1 on 02-Apr-2013.

IN PPR1 document, LVO mentions 6 weeks time to issue PPR2

I do reside in PK--- why VO skipped PPR1 step?--- Allah knows better but, I guess , they skipped PPR1 keeping in view the fact that my passport is going to expire soon ( 26th May, 2013)
