ALL, It was a sigh of relief at just before noon today, when i got out of the cic office with the certificate, LOL btw, cfila, you were right, Only the letter and PRC were needed. Thanks and GL everyone.

So, question to the people who have already attended the ceremony! I'm bringing my PR card, Old passport with record of landing, drivers license, health card and SIN card along with the letter to the ceremony. would that suffice the requirements or is there anything else needed to be brought along.

Hi, Congratulations on the Citizenship. I'm in a similar situation. I'll be attending the ceremony on Sept 6, 2012 and applying for the passport on Sept 11, 2012 (Considering 2 business days, Friday and Monday and the weekend). The CIC website states that one should wait for at least 2 business...

I think you need to make an appointment or something but i could be wrong. i'm sure some one more experienced might be able to answer that question.

Hi look4d, Arrival date should be the date you became a landed immigrant when you first came to Canada, but you should also account for all the days you were not physically present in Canada. hope this helps. GL
