    so that means, they verify apps right after they get them and not issue file #'s until they find their own time. If they haven't really opened my forms, they have no way to find my email id.

    i got the same email and my application was sent on May 11th 2009. So it's just not only March applicants, its for all. btw, I haven't received my file number, obviously.

    I also got the same email today, i submitted my app on May 11 2009. I haven't got the file # (obvious) but how did they get my email id without looking into my app? curious though.
