my wife got her visa on wednesday july 25... it also says that she needs to do a medical when she gets to canada.

I requested info... but takes 29 days... which should be next week hopefully.... but I do see changes on my wifes ecas... and so did raj... so everyone should get some updates this month.

not sure how come you got an interview then? Hopefully I don't get interview... as you know it takes time.

mmmm mine says: We received your application for permanent residence on November 25, 2011. We started processing your application on March 6, 2012. Medical results have been received. and still in progress... does your show your home address, as well as your wifes mailing address?

so I should leave the address alone until my wife is in canada?

hi all, and yes there is process.. finally... so today.... now it shows "Your current home address" (which is showing partly my canadian address) and "Your current mailing address" (which is showing my wifes india address). So is this correct? like when update the address, it needs an effective...

hi all, so I logged into ECAS this morning.. and guess what? my wifes medical was recieved. So now how much longer to get the visa???? any changes on your ECAS status?

My wifes passport was submitted in march, and still no response from them. Been so long....

no updates at this time... :(. my anniversary is in august... wanted us to be together for our first anniversary.

So updated my timeline.... so just waiting.... I send an email inquiry for the status, if they recieved medical or not. Takes 28 days.... WTF..

Still waiting as well... 3 months without passport is rather unfair. My wife could have travelled, or visited me. Did anyone noticed that the CIC time for india is 8 months now, not 6 months :O

Hey all, Just wandering if everyone here has their CIC status saying Medical Recieved? Mine doesn't. The medical was completed in OCt 2011, but the doctor didn't send it in. And so in March 2012, my wife had to go back and review the medical results. THere was no issues, but of course delay. And...

hey everyone. So I logged into CIC to check the status of the application, still says In Progress... but they have posted my wives address for mailing address. Does this mean anything? Nothing says about medical being recieved. I am hoping this is a sign that we are getting the visa soon.

it has been 2 months already, and no word from CIC. Just have to wait and see what happens...

Hi, We used speedpost, and wasn't too sure how much it cost. My wife is the one who mailed it in, as i told her... doesn't matter the cost. Whatever it takes to us back together.

I haven't heard from CIC India for along time... still says in Progress... since March 6.... also is that the doctor sscrewed up and didn't send in our medical reports til March 17...so more delays for sure.

The Problem was that when my wife did the exam, they doctor didn't talk to her about the results (which was all good), and is just sending the results now. Mind you that we did the exam months ago.... sadly adding more delays :(

Hey.. my wife got a call from Canadian Embassy to contact the doctor for Consulting the results before it is send to Canadian Embassy. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
