1095 days exactly causes any problems??

I had exactly 1095 days and got my citizenship a month ago. If you are absolutely sure that you have 1095 days and can provide as much proof as possible, then go for it.

Toronto as a ceremony location is gone from CIC site

I am under the impression that not all of the ceremonies are listed on their website. I took my oath on June 27 in Vancouver and that ceremony was not listed.

Withdraw my citizenship application and apply again?

You need 1095 days completed and need to sign on the 1096th day. I applied with 1095 days and got my citizenship. Either way, if the residency calculator tells you you have 1095 days, it's fine.

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Hi everyone, I took my oath yesterday. The ceremony itself was pretty similar to what has already been described on this forum. The feeling was amazing. All-in-all it took about 1.5 hours and an official told us we should wait for three business days before applying for a passport (a little...

Hi guys, On Friday (June 20) I have received a letter inviting me to a citizenship ceremony on June 27. I am very excited :) For everyone who is planning to leave on a vacation this summer but expects a scheduled ceremony: CIC does not seem to be giving much of an advanced notice. Ecas status...

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Sorry for spamming... Kenyadian, also check this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/urgent-passport-after-oath-t190090.0.html A guy was able to get a passport 28 hours after the oath. Perhaps this would work for you, though very risky. I myself had a test in...

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

One thought that may or may not work. How about getting a nexus card? I am not sure whether you have to surrender a nexus card when you become a citizen. I know that you must notify them that your status in Canada has changed, but you may be able to keep an existing card. Not sure if this works...

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Are you sure? I thought after 2010 that is not the case and you can only cross either on an enhanced license or a passport. Or am I wrong?

    Vancouver Applicants

Probably: most of RQs seem to be given in the early stage, while applications are still in Nova Scotia. However, there is still a final check done by CJ after the citizenship test. I applied in May last year and had a test a month ago. An officer interviewed me and went through my passport...

How about applying for a Canadian passport while you are abroad?! Would you have enough time?

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

From what I understand, the issue is not in surrendering the Keynedian's Kenyan passport, but that he has to surrender the PR card during the oath ceremony. From what I understand, PR card must be surrendered during the ceremony without exception. Passport Canada produce a passport the day after...
