LMO processing time is not fixed, depends from case to case. Mine took more than 3 months. If your employer has already received a positive LMO before, then he/she is eligible to apply for A-LMO for you in which the decision is made within 10 days. You would need a job offer letter, that is...

Try this, tell the CIC rep that a decision making officer has been assigned to LMO application and it would take a week until they deliver any result. Then you may request them to hold off the application. I guess this worked for me. If they ask you where did you get this update, you can say...

There is nothing you can do. Your employer can only call HRDC to check the status of LMO application or inquire about the file number. Its been over a month and I'm sure your employer should have received a file number, check with him/her.
