Hi there!- I'm a June 2010 applicant, got my OWP dec 2011 but my status thru CIC online is still on process. My dependant in the phils haven't receive any letter yet and so I am. I dunno when they will start processing m dependant :(

Isn't it valid OHIP will cover a C-Section?

Anyone here that is May/June 2010 applicant that receive OWP but th remark is Pending LCR APR? What does that mean?

I got my work permit in the mail today, issued Dec 11, 2011. Remark is, PENDInG LIC APR. Im a June, 2010 applicant. So happy. Ned to wait for AIP. Merry Christmas everyone!

Hi lucyfun- The only time we dont need letter from employer /employer is when we have PR card. But with Work Permt and OWP we need employer to be able to comeback to Canada- ( I think ) :)

cheking mail everyday unfortunantely not here yet. Hotline said OWP issued dec.11..Hhaha I can't wait! How long usually does it take mail to come when they issued it last Dec 11? Sorry guys just so excited! :)

Thank you wsongco :)..I hope I can renew my healthcard with no trouble, coz I'm not employed right now. They were saying you need to have fulltime job nd wait 6 mos before thy will renew you healthcard! But I hope that won't happen.

So happy for you EbonyIvory and to everyone that got what they are waiting for. I haven't got the letter yet, but CIC agent said they mail it last Dec 11. I will check the mailbox tomorrow :)...I will post it here what is the remark on my OWP as soon as I got it. I hope it's the first stage...
