Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Hi guys, As promised, here are the details of when my husband arrived in Canada: First they ask a bunch of general questions like "who sponsored you", "have you been to Canada before", and address details. Then they ask you sign the COPR in their presence and hand you your copy of the form...

Hi CanadiansWife, My ecas has always said the same thing--changed only once right at the beginning when it activated and so it has said the following: Permanent Residence We received your application for permanent residence on December 30, 2011. We started processing your application on...

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

I don't think it will since you are pretty much on the last steps of the process. I think that may be more applicable to the newer applicants who applied in that time period. I hope that you get your DM really quickly--I got mine in 8 days after it showed my status changing to "In Process"--it...

if it makes you feel better, my address never even showed up until 4 days after DM and Srinivas.vadapalli's status is in In Process but he's never had anything show for Medicals being received so I dont think those things will effect how long your application takes or when it will change to DM

Sure no problem!! He'll be flying in on Friday so I will make sure to fill you on the landing experience which for him shouldn't be too bad since he'd already been in Canada for 4 years. The ticket was $820 for one way! What a rip off!! Oh well, what can you really do?

I definitely agree with JEFFandJANET as well. Although this may not seem helpful coming from someone who just finished the process, try and put things into prospective. CIC gets thousands upon thousands of applicants like you and me who are feeling the same way but must go through the same...

My husband finally got his Passport delivered today which is relieving! Hopefully we can book something for next week. Interesting this was that his e-cas updated to show his previous mailing address in Canada as well as his new one. FYI, we've never had our address show at all. Good luck to all!

Yes, they are the same--if you notice, you will see the PO Box number and the postal code number are the same. The address that is in the letter is just more specific to the area.

You're right but its just so frustrating at the same time--its really unfortunate this process isn't any easier. I'm glad that I was able to do my own package but I know it is a very daunting task.

Hi CanadiansWife When I log in under my husband's details, I have never seen an address show up. When I log in under my own details as the sponsor, I've always seen my own address. Also, when my e-cas was activated, we had the "Medicals have been received" update right away. I also have not...
