our story is very simple as well...was in common law for 4 yrs and applied after...my partner was never divorce and they ask for the divorce paper and ask to provide explanation if my partner was not divorce. respond to them and sent more proof as they were asking for more...my partner is 18 yrs...

Re: IDK WHAT TO DO D: spouse sponsor i received the same letter when my papers was on process before. I would rather send it through registered mail so at least I have a record that docs are sent before the due date rather than emailing it or faxing it.

hi rocio, you just have to send all the docs and other proof that you have in regards to genuine relationship.

that was my mistake before, I sent all the originals but its all good since as long as your evidence is enough they wont ask more. in my case, I sent tons of bills, pics, receipts, Insurance both medical and life and in the end they sent me another letter asking for more but it was worth it...

I printed pictures too from facebook with all the comments so the VO can see it. when I requested GCMS notes, I see that they highlighted with black pen the names of my friends who had comment for privacy reason. I printed them at home and nothing too fancy papers.

don't worry mttb123 I just got my DM 3 days ago....and got my landing interview at cic edm yesterday.. I know where everybody is coming from in terms of waiting time and I hope that everybody will have a good news too before Christmas...

Good News guys. I got my Landing Interview on Dec 16 at CIC Edmonton at 9-10am. I can't be happier today. the long process is over. do you have any idea guys what to expect during the interview?

maybe you are right but the reason why I posted here is because I am under family class sponsorship..my commonlaw partner sponsored me. and I have done my medical, sent my police clearance and sent in the stat declaration form but I wonder if that is still valid. cic said they are just waiting...

So I am in the process of applying online for my extension of work permit and I answered all the questions. But the thing is that the required docs are: passport, proof of medical exam, stat declaration of common law union and the photo. proof of med exam and stat declaration doesn't make sense...
