had landing appointment this morning for 8:15 was last to be call then due to error on behalf of cic had to hang around Montreal until 1:15pm go to another immigration building and due to the error, immigration tells me that i will have to wait for permanent resident card to file for a sin card...

SO Thrilled got landing date august 29th 8:15am in montreal .truely happy this will soon all be over

Finally cic has made a decision on my application montreal sent letter with information for me to confirm was correct along with 2 pictures and passport page now just waiting for landing date so glad its almost over!!!!

I applied for pr April 16 2012 check the website 10 minutes ago and they finally went to decision made i hope it will be good news...

I know complaining isn't gonna speed up the process or anything but how come i have seen people who have sent their application in way after some of the people and already have decision made how can this be

would be nice if we all could get decision made b4 next month its aggravating sitting around waitin if you would like to add me to your timeline i would appreciate it alot

Sent application april 16 2012 after sending them the same document 4 times bc they lost it they started processing the application october 31 2012 called today and was told i would have to wait 8 more months before they would give a final decision i Can't wait for this to be over and done but...

when you apply for pr do you have to apply for an open work permit as well or can you wait for immigration to finish the application

Just wondering but do you have to file for an open work permit under spouse sponsorship or can you just wait till they have finished the application

cic started processing my application oct 30 2012 i recieved a letter today stating in order for them to continue my application i must submit a client update history the thing is i have done this 3 time already how many times must i do the same thing over its really frustrating when they lose...

after you get aip and they send you the letter saying you can now apply for an open work permit do you have to apply for one or just wait until they finish the application all together?

Never thought this would be pain in the butt ::)received a letter yesterday for client update history so i called CiC aN agent told me to disregard the letter but me worrying so much since i called again and talked to a different agent she did all the checking of my application and told me yes...

i didnt leave gaps but just got off the phone with an agent he told me to disregard the new request that i received this morning that everything is ok there was a mix up on there side
