Yeah i was thinking the same. Fortunately we r done with our landing today and now can have the real feel of holidays :) Happy Holidays to all.

Ok guys good news i got the letter again for landing on 23rd in cic ottawa :) But i need suggestion regarding photos , from where to get them done?

No v r in ottawa..... Its weird again that CoPR expires within 4 months while some cities take 4-6 months in scheduling landing. My hubby intends to visit them tomorrow.

Thnx. They didnt giv any number or time frame , jus asked us to wait for a call from them since this time i specifically mentioned them to contact on cell and leave a voice mail if nobody receives the phone. I guess calling daily may b a good idea.

I did call as soon as we received the letter and we call cic almost every week to ask if our landing has been scheduled....and guess wat initially they didnt knw anything about our landing but when i said i hav letter in hand issued at 5th dec and recvd on 10 th dec for landing at 10th then...

Friends m having a situation here.... For 3 months i was waiting for my landing n here we received a letter yesterday by mail which had interview dated for yesterday morning.... That means we missed the landing.... :( Has anybody idea wat shud we do now..? Also i want to knw if amybody knws...

Hi all, Can anybody tell me where do ottawa applicants land as i see on website there r two offices in ottawa ,one is at laurier avenue west , other is on catherine street.

I was told by cic agents that we land in the city of our residence and the email we received from cic regarding completion of our appl also says that CPC ottawa will contact us. We do want to land in ottawa but i just hope these two different addresses dont delay the landing.

Thanks screech for quick response, Actually our mailing address is that of mississauga where my parents live and residence is in ottawa so was jus wondering if we must take letter with us once it arrives.

I hav a quick question for those landing and gettiing landing appointment. Do we have to take landing appointment letter with us for landing?

I think its better if applicant contacts , we did the same in our case and MPs assisstant was v cooperative.

Hello friends, I m finally thinking to contact MP to push our application as its already been 10 months+ for stage 2.n cic agents say they dont need anything from us. Any suggestions how to contact like email , telephone or meeting? I m based in ottawa n the MP wud b John Baird i guess....

You are right she is issued a visitor record but the problem remains same that it has validity date of 23rd july 2013. In remarks they say about AIP approval and that " Temporary resident status maintained as per 183(6)"
