hi yes i had sent PCC's with my initial application and another set of PCC's afte my medicasl were done because from all the forums it seeemed that CHC was asking for current PCC's befoe givivng final decision !

thanx evrybody 4 the good wishes!.....yes it took almost 5 months for cic process.....i do believe that because i sent the PCC's without CHC-NY asking for it, was like reminder for CHC to look up my file, which helped me in saving some time......the reason i decided to take this step on my own...

hi no I didnt send state PCC.....just the FBI-USA and another from Indian consulate!..... i sent these few weeks after my medicals!

hi all just an update i sent my PR (under SRS) application to cic on 30th dec,08 (ie cic recieved it on this date).....and i got my AOR/ med request on 7 march,09......the application is dated as 2nd march,09..........

i think u have to be on h1 till the final decision is made.......also u can finish ur studies while on h1 , rather when on h1 u dont have to pay international student fees, only what the in-state resident would.....just a thought

hi all, i had applied to cic on 30th dec,08 under AINP-SRS.......and so far no AOR.....my bank said my check was cashed on 14th jan,09........i got the B********* number stamped at the back of my check but when used on ecas nothing shows up........now my dilemma is that my daughter...

hey dna, how about emailing CIC / AINP about the update on your AOR / med request....coz if u have got your med request there is a 60 day deadline & u dont wanna miss that my friend after all the work / anticipation.......u can get ur meds done while in india...... just a thought! all the best...

hi i could be wrong but isnt it just 1 signature required on Schedule 1 – 4 pages, and not 2 signatures required.......please do clarify for us all

u r right they almost never pick up the fone!...... i guess the gods were on my side that day........haha.......sorry it was a while ago so dont remember which # i was able to get thru........but being a person of habit, i remember dialing all the #'s listed on the website till i was successful....

hi again well depends on how far you will be in the stage-1, by the time u will b in india.........two weeks after i submitted documents for stage -1, i had asked them at chicago consulate as to what i can do to fast track stage -1.......they gave me my file # and the date it was sent to...

hello there! i am in WI ....and i bank at two banks.....my older bank has been notarizing my documents always without any probs....but the new bank people gave me the same reasoning as yours .......so i think the policy varies from bank 2 bank.....try talking to someone in the bank who knows you...

you can send in the "notice of action" showing the change of status alongwith copy of your F1 stamp as proof of your legal entrance in usa.........hope this helps
