Yes, the numbers from CIO and later the visa office are like your example (B*********) which are 10-digits unlike the UCI which is 8-digits. There is no where in all my corespondences a UCI was indicated.

Please can someone with knowledge explain to me : What is Universal Client Identification number (UCI) or client ID (8-digit number) for generic form 0008?. I have a file number already which is 10-digit that does not fit into generic form 0008 space. Where do I get this UCI? :)

I already have immigration number.Is this UCI same thing with Immigration number/Application number? Can I write my immigration/Application number in the UCI space?
