    CIC emailed me yesterday, then I called them this morning. The visa was issued Oct. 10, then DM na ECAS ko Oct. 12. CIC received the passports with visa Oct. 18. Pag na receive nila, they'll automatically email you within the day. I don't remember any part of our contract requiring us to buy...

    @Ching0418 - my original destination is Vancouver pero baka Calgary kami pupunta. Within qtr1 2012 balak namin umalis, pero it's not fixed yet 'coz winter time yon. My ECAS never changed even after medicals, derecho na DM agad. Hope it's a good sign - expecting Visa soon.... Goodluck to all of us!

    In the PPR, it was indicated that our passports will be returned within 90 days. But I am very optimistic it will be returned earlier.

    Congrats too Jandox! My PPR was dated 6 Sept. I was asked to respond within 45 days. I submitted yesterday through my agency (CIC) our passports, photos and filled up Appendix A. Hopefully the visa will come soon. I think the timeline for the release is 2 months maximum although trends now...
