    Passport Request letter: confused about RPRF(right of permanent residency fee)

    It worked! I just sent a money order from canada post along with the passport, and as of today I got a mail from canada newyork consulate and it looks like I got the permanent residency.

    My situation is similar I think. It sucks that they don't let you use a prepaid courier service for the return of the passport if you are in Canada. The only option is a regular USPS mail they don't even indicate if this regular mail will be registered or certified.

    I'm not sure what a commission is. Whatevever it is, if it is included in box 14 on line 101 in T4 document, then it is your (taxable) income for sure. Otherwise it might be a non-taxable income in which case should appear on a T4-A document as far as I know.

In the letter is says "return this letter with all of the documents listed above..." which includes RPRF however it says exactly: "RPRF must be paid at our office" So, If I mail the RPRF in money order form then how...
