HI GUYS!!! MY APPLICATION GOT A SPONSOR APPROVAL! I DID NOT GET AN EMAIL BUT NOTICED THAT ON GCMS NOTES! ONE THING I WANT TO CLARIFY, IT SAYS "Primary Office: CPC Mississauga" and Secondary Office "CPC-Ottawa" on the front page of the notes, does that mean that file got transferred to Ottawa...

Last week was sooo wierd...have not seen anyone got a sponsorship approval...CIC is slacking again.... :( Any news on approvals guys???

ANY NEWS GUYS??? My application was received on January 6, 2014 and started processing March 2, 2016....still no Approval news, ecas still says "In Process"...

Hey lethuong, when did CIC receive your application (what date)? And when started processing in?

Don't get me wrong I am not jealous, I just don't understand how they review files that's all...looks like they just flipping coins and pick files randomly:)

I have got no emails yet...but my application was received on Jan 6, 2014 and Started Processing on March 2, 2016.....this is sooo weird how CIC is looking at applications these days....did you get it during the day? Not sure when they send it out? Does your ecas still says "in process"?

Would you be able to clarify one thing. I know Canadian Government is taking steps to reduce existing backlog for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship, and based on graphs shown on CIC website citizenship and immigration shows a big improvements. Why are the processing times at initial stage...

Well...what I don't understand is why CIC is not moving from May 28, 2012? and when backlog is reducing (according to CIC) why processing times for second stage at visa offices are going up every quarter?
