You can bring guests, they are welcome.... and I wouldn't worry about whether the date is posted or not. They only post them month by month I think.

I applied with my children on 3rd of April and me and my son took our test on the 2nd October. It all went very smoothly and the interview was only 5 mins. She was more curious about my son's unusual name than anything else. She wanted to know about what family we had here and if we had plans to...

We got there at about 9:45 am for our test at 10am and it was fine. I was trying to get there earlier but I got lost in the one way system and spend half an hour driving in circles.

Re: Parking questions There is parking right next to 977 express blvd. It costs $5 per hour. However, to reduce the stress and worry on such an important day I think it is worth paying it.

Yes. I would love my oath date soon. I want to vote in the local elections on 15th November, but I don't think I shall have an oath in time.

Recently given citizenship test (share experience)

My son only had his expired passport with him as he never bothered to renew. There was no point as he wasn't going anywhere. It didn't seem to be a problem. When you renew a UK passport they cut the corner of the old one so it is clear that he hadn't renewed his old one.

Not many. Just about my trips abroad (which I only had one) and what family members I have here. She wanted to see my passport including any expired ones. It was all over very quickly. She asked why I hadn't been back to England and if I was planning to go. I explained to her that I had been...

Took my test in Vancouver today with my son and we both passed. ;D They said it would be 3 to 5 months before we were sent an oath notice. The interview was very easy as our file is very straight forward. I am so relieved that part of our journey is now over and we just have to wait for the...
