I am requesting to add me as representative for my parents so that I can follow up on status if needed. I filled the web form Use of representative (IMM5476) for my parents but I got a message from CIC saying that form is not complete. I checked many times and I could not figure out anything...

Same here. Applied on 20-Nov. No updates or no AOR

What options did you selected while calling. I can never connect to CIC , always get a message " We are experiencing High call volume and can not transfer you and they disconnect the call"

My parents are not very tech savvy. So I end up doing things for them. I can create the separate GC Key account for my dad and see if its works. Although GCkey account does not really ask for personal details so does it really matter ?

I have failed like 5 times . GCkey is in my name and I am trying to link my parents application. In the applicant name I add my father name and his date of birth . Am I doing something wrong ?

Sorry , I am confused . So if I we are 2 sponsors ( I and my spouse) and 2 kids and I am sponsoring my parents (2). Would the answer be 4 or 6 ?

Am from Vancouver and I know Vancouver office is the slowest based on some personal and family experience . Do not know what can we do though.

Linking does not work until your have UCI or other identifiers . Which means for many of us , application processing mayn't have started yet.

Is there a way to know timelines for each province .

Congrats , celebration time for your family !!!:) , Calgary has always been one of the fastest for immigration processing ( have few frens there). Wish BC processing was at least a little bit faster. Do not even know if my parents application processing has been started yet.

Thanks :) . I'm based in BC and have heard that usually the processing for applications submitted from BC is slower . But my fingers crossed for the next step.

That is amazing , you already got the Biometrics. Good luck with rest of the processing. The applications my parents submitted , we attached everything - cancelled passports , resumes , Adhaar card , voter ids etc , so hoping once we receive the acknowledgement everything should be smooth.

Thanks for your reply . Most of the threads I read on this forum , people received the acknowledgement in 3-4 months. My fingers are crossed to see if I receive anything by end of the March, 2024.
