If you can check your GC key account for any updates with your PR "Card" application, the second ghost update will show the date they mail your PR card since they don't send any notification about your PR card. BTW congratulations on your Ecopr !! finally you got it yessss !!!

As far as I know, GU1 means that they are processing final decision of your PR card application, and GU2 shows the date when they mail your PR card and it’s on the way. I hope this helps!

I believe ecopr is not for travel so it’s the safe way that you let IRCC know about your parents travel to US
