No you would be on implied status on October 11th which means you can continue to study until you hear a decision on your extension.

Did your permit expire yet? Are you also applying for SOWP? if not have your MP contact IRCC about your application as it has passed normal processing times. my application was processed in Edmonton

Can you take more classes online? Since you’re a year in a program I don’t think you can defer or switch to part time status. Since eligibility passed then you will probably get your permit sooner or later.

I can’t tell you exactly about your future pgwp. However plenty of students do not honor the 20 hour limit and end up with pgwp. One occurrence probably won’t affect you just make sure it’s a one time thing and set limits with whoever schedules your shifts at the workplace

They email it as soon as your are approved and receive the approval in Canada message

I believe there is an exception for international students to work more than 20 hours if you received approval before a specific date. Look into it.
