Absolutely. Also, make sure to sign and attach an attested copy of the Passport bearer’s page. My ECA has been delayed because of it. They don’t mention it as a requirement on their website but will send you a message if it’s missing and it will delay the process.

Haha, yeah there’s a huge difference between the two. Because had you received an ITA then it would’ve been a tricky situation because IRCC is not as lenient as OINP. I’m nervous about my own situation cause it’s already been 4 months since I applied for ECA from MCC and they have yet to issue...

Yes, I got approved by OINP and have received an ITA based on PNP. MCC has still not issued an equivalence. I’m currently gathering paperwork to apply for Permanent Residence.

IRCC may have nothing to do with Ontario’s nomination but much of those requirements are the same such as the ECA. It is only logical to assume that if an ECA is acceptable for IRCC then it also must be acceptable for OINP since after nomination you are vetted by IRCC at the ITA stage.

I’ve done that. My credentials have been received by MCC and i’ve written an LOE as well as attached receipts issued by MCC in case I don’t receive an ECA from them in time and have to submit the application with the ECA from WES. I’ve tried to email OINP as well but they haven’t responded back.

I have been invited under the HCP stream in a targeted health draw. I’ve been getting mixed responses, where some people have said that it is okay to proceed with the ECA from WES and others have disagreed that as a primary applicant I need to have an ECA from MCC to claim points.

Yeah, which is why i’m bugged out. I have an ECFMG account and already have my credentials verified so i’m hoping if MCC sends them my documents for verification ECFMG will just verify the docs themselves and not send them to my medical school which may save time.

Paying for those reports and updating the reference number is not an issue. The real issue is, I have an ECA from WES for my degree and the one from MCC is currently in process. I don’t know if MCC will be able to get me the ECA before the time to respond to the NOI from OINP lapses. So should I...

I’m a GP and received NOI from OINP but I have an ECA from WES. I have already submitted a request for ECA to MCC but can I proceed with my application with this ECA along with an LOE? and if they ask for additional information I will have the MCC ECA by that point in time.
