hey guys so even though i did my citizenship ceremony already and became a citizen u still check tracker daily..it became a habit lol today my tracker updated to closed so it would be my last time checking it. jut to recap i became Permanent Resident sept 7, 2017 applied for citizenship sept...

i sent my application sept 14 and im already a citizen since june 22nd damn hope everything goes fast for you from this point on

on the spreadsheet it says my oath date is may 22 but its actually june 22 so if someone wants to update that :)

I was giving the option to have it mail to me or pick it up I chose pick it up because it’s a fixed date July 11th while by mail I was told 4-6 weeks P.s if I sont pick it up on July 11th they will mail it to me( I won’t be able to pick it up any other day)

im officially a canadian citizen as of today will pick up certificate on july 11th and apply for passport right away :)

quick question! when applying for passport do they use the photos provided in application or do they take new photos on the spot?

Update: my hunch was correct unfortunately today was solely an interview and not the oath ceremony i was told there was a bug in the system and i needed to send them a provincial id and also scan every page of my passport and send to them and thats all that was needed for them to close my file...
