    This is entirely my opinion, I could be wrong: Best not to do anything without the email. IRCC appears to be planning and allocating specific time windows for these steps. Once you get the email, you'll also get the confirmation that tells you where RCMP needs to send your fingerprint results.

    Updating my timeline: Test taken: 30th July 2022 I thoroughly studied the Discover Canada book, and used many practice tests on public library websites. I got 20/20 as my temporary results.

    I did it at this fingerprinting office. https://goo.gl/maps/c95wLWqNGnnj5Acu5 It was fast and efficient. You can go online and fill in their form to make it faster when you arrive. Alternatively they'll ask you to fill it when you get there.
