No updates.. still waiting. No response on webform as well Applied on new portal on Dec 27 and biometrics on Jan 3rd. New Delhi visa office.

Hi there , can someone please explain the difference between applying for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) online on the CIC.gc.ca website v/s applying for Visitor Visa on the IRCC website (IRCC.canada.ca)? Is the IRCC considered the new portal? Thanks!
