I live in Canada not US..We made a U turn to do landing..so i dont know answers to your questions. The Border Security can help you on spot in this regards.

I received PPR last night after a long wait. The email i received includes three attachments a RPRF instruction file, Biodata file and the PPR letter titled date. :D

Congratulations.... For your issue ...Please apply for GCMS notes ASAP...You will get them in 3-4 weeks..They will assure you if they have already seen your email.See the Notes section for it... In the meanwhile you can await their reply back to acknowledge and fill the necessary forms collect...

Thanks for bringing that up ..The same happened in my case..I got married right after getting my AOR. At that time i spoke to both the province and Buffalo. The province said we should send Buffalo a request to add her up .which i did and a few months later Buffalo sent me her medical...

My Employer is sending me US for 5-6 days.I wanted to know if this trip can affect the BG check duration happening on a file?

Sharu, i dont think having 'PR Final review' on GCMS notes means all checks are done.I say this because my first GCMS report back in July mentioned i am in the PR Final Review category but CPP-O replies me back every time saying i am going through Background check since May .

How can this backfire exactly? delay in processing? My Background checks started around May 2012 (or maybe earlier)...Its been 8 months since then and its still not completed.We really don't have any other choice other than to contact all offices involved in the procedure .

That 9 month time includes the time the application stays in nova scotia , after which a transfer to Ottawa happens and CPP-O sends the AOR and medical forms. We are all past those steps..in our case CPP-O should take less than that probable 6 months or even less.

congrats odis..please share your timeline..When did you send in your application , when did the AOR/medicals came in and if you had any BG checks running. Thanks
