Thanks. So I need to apply for a fresh permit right? And are the permits approved in such scenarios? They wouldn't want to risk my dropping out again right? And also I need to obviously mention all of this in my SOP as well right? Do you have any such SOP? Would be really helpful.

No. Your initial biometrics is valid for 10 years. IRCC will give you a letter mentioning that the biometrics is valid for 10 years. You can use that document this time as well and it will be updated in your profile.
