Just received my certificate in the post 5 minutes ago! I had my oath ceremony on the 29th of november.

Contact your MP and tell them your situation and that you want to get information on your file. They will ask you to fill up and sign form IMM5475 (I signed electronically) and send it with a scan of an identity card. I sent a scan of my PR card but I suppose they will accept a driver's licence...

It's fine, you don't need to print it. I signed the form electronically and it was accepted.

Hi, I had my oath ceremony on the 29th as well and my case was closed on the 1st of december. I still haven't received my certificate. I think I saw a post on this board or on reddit that said that the certificates are sent from Montreal (I'm in Montreal), but I don't know if it's true. Couldn't...

I just had the citizenship oath ceremony yesterday. Around 70 people participated. At that rate, it would take roughly 57 weeks to clear the 20000 people waiting for the oath. However, it seems that there were several ceremonies per day so... maybe less? Very difficult to know without more...

Great news, congratulations! Could you please let us know how long it takes you to receive the certificate? I'm in a bit of a hurry to get it so I can apply for a passport.

You"re probably right! I was never asked to submit fingerprints. I have no clue why some applications require fingerprints while other don't.
