It took me 2 days minus one year from the date I got the invitation. Some people got it sooner than that. In the end it all depends how simple your case is i.e documentation. Also it depends a lot on how promptly you provide all the info that IRCC requests. Wish you luck!

How long did it take you to get portal email after PPR?

You could be in for a quite a wait for Virtual landing after the PPR. Its a multi step process which can take weeks so plan the travel accordingly. I requested virtual landing 4 weeks ago but still have not heard back yet.

Thanks! I was asked for similar documents like old passports and school records back in April. Its not a red flag, just a part of the process. Just try to be prompt in responding to all the requests. Also I think the process moves a bit faster for people whose parents have already visited...

I actually spoke to an IRCC agent over the phone and they said unless I, the sponsor, was the authorised representative, i would not be able to link the application. Does not make sense to me that being a sponsor myself I can't see the application status. How does IRCC know who's accessing...
