The email that you received after sending your application is not more that just a proof that your application was submitted successfully. Unfortunately, you can't link your application on IRCC until you receive your AOR which include your official application number.

I don't know where you live, but I was in the same situation two months ago. I submitted my PGWP from Quebec three days before my study visa expiration. Hopefully, I was able to renew my insurance card for six months until I get my full PGWP.

There is maybe a solution for people with no news two months after they submitted their application. Asking to their own MP to push their application.
